Music Festival Adriatica

The 19th International Brass Bands and Orchestra Meeting “Musicfest Adriatica” will take place again in the Republic of San Marino and on the Adriatic Coast from September 12th to 15th, 2024.

In cooperation with the Tourist Office of the Republic of San Marino is pleased to invite your music group to San Marino for the International Brass Music and Orchestra Meeting “MusicFest Adriatica 2023″ and to offer you a charming setting.

Program:

Outdoor evening concerts in a square o pedestrian area in Riccione – Rimini – Cattolica- Pesaro
Grand Parade through the historic center of San Marino with Grand Finale in the Piazza Libertà
Farewell and musician evening with dinner for all participating music groups

Take part in the MusicFest Adriatica with your brass band and enjoy the Mediterranean environment and the Italian lifestyle, regardless of competitive pressure.

DAY 1:

Arrival in late afternoon to the hotel in Rimini/Riccione Check-in. Dinner at hotel. After dinner free time.

DAY 2:

Breakfast in hotel. Morning is free at disposal or take part is some optional excursion, f.e. visit and shopping at the weekly market in Riccione, excursion to Gradara, San Leo or a panorama boat trip along the coast.

Lunch on your own. Afternoon leisure time on the beach. Dinner at hotel.
After dinner transfer to your open-air concert location on a square or in a pedestrian aerea.

After concert return to your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 3:

Breakfast in hotel. Depart for San Marino, the oldest republic in the world. In the morning a walking tour of the streets and the walls of the medieval town (approximately 1 hour without entrance fees). Unforgettable is the visit of the 3 towers, as represented in the flag’s emblem, with their beautiful view.

Light Lunch in San Marino.
Afternoon Parade through the historic center of San Marino with Grand Finale in Piazza Libertà.
Then transfer to the vineyard.
Pasta & Wine Party together with all participating brass bands. After the Farewell Party backtransfer to your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 4:

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out and departure.

The Republic of San Marino, with an area of only
61 km2, is situated between the Italian regions of Romagna and Marche, only a few kilometers from the Adriatic sea coast. According to the legend,

San Marino was founded in 301 A.D. by Dalmatian stonemason Marino. He came here to hide from the Roman emperor Dioklecian in the period of Christian persecution. Since that time this small state has been proud of its liberty and in the past being able to constantly defend its independence.

The Republic of San Marino is not only one of the smallest states in the world, but it is also the oldest state. On July 7, 2008 the Republic of San Marino, thanks to the unique character of its history and institutional heritage, was given an outstanding recognition by UNESCO’s Committee: the inscription in the prestigious List of World Heritage Sites.
